I remember my dating days and the perpetual problem I had trying to think of an original date idea. It was always the same - a drink in a noisy pub, perhaps a walk through town and along the riverbank and maybe a 'shall we go to the ...? OK, let's not bother'. The trouble was that, although I was perfectly capable of thinking of some interesting date ideas, when I was put on the spot my nerves kicked in and I lost confidence.
Talking to my friends (and also my wife), I know I was not alone with this dilemma.
