What turns a man off?

More ways in which you can lose your guy by a few simple actions. This is what not to do if you want to keep a man interested in you

Making him do all the running
Expecting him to do all the ringing, travelling, asking and arranging is completely unfair and unrealistic. You are turning your feller into a personal secretary. In the end he is going to come to the conclusion that you are more trouble than you are worth. If you want to keep him, make sure you meet him in the middle. Phone him, do some of the travelling, arrange dates and so on - he'll love you for it.
Playing ridiculously hard to get
A little bit of mystique is incredibly sexy. Quite right that you aim to be desired and appreciated by your man but playing hard to get is like using perfume - a little dab can turn a man on, a bath in the stuff just makes everyone nauseous. Make him come after you by all means but make sure you show him enough encouragement for him to realise that it's just a game which you are egging him on to win.
Not showing any interest in him
You may have read somewhere that playing it cool is appealing. No, it's not. If you show no interest in your man he will just drift away to a girl who offers him warmth and feeling. Treating him with disdain and disinterest merely conveys the message to a decent man that it is time to look elsewhere and that is just what he will do.
Keeping him dangling
I call this the 'reluctant virgin' routine. 'Shall I, shan't I?' over everything to do with the relationship (and I'm not actually referring to sex) is off-putting. Are you interested in this man - yes or no? If you are, say so. Don't be afraid to let your feelings be known. Chances are he will reciprocate and you will be glad you made the effort. If not, well, it's better to know that your relationship has no future which is exactly what it will have if you fail to adequately convey your affection to him.
Showing off in front of your friends
Yes, it is a good idea to make your first date somewhere that you are known or have friends to hand just in case it turns weird. That said, the reason why you have them on hand is not for posing with your new boyfriend, it is for your security. As far as he is concerned, he has come out on a date with you and not as a bystander at some private party. If you spend the date chatting to your friends and sharing private jokes you will not be asked on a second date.

Good luck with your dating. No doubt you can probably think of some other things that turns a man off.
