Ibiza, Balearic Islands - Romantic Date Ideas
Party all night and have fun all day on the Balearic Island of Ibiza
The island of Ibiza has become the buzz-word for partying. It is a real hit with
the young at heart (irrespective of their physical age) and is just the ticket
for those with energy to burn. A romantic date on Ibiza will be a whirlwind that
neither of you is likely to forget. Hire a car or motorbike and escape from the
hubbub and see a side of Ibiza that is less well-known. You can still find quiet
beaches, silent forests and enjoy traditional seafood if you are prepared to
make the effort. Check out the striking architecture which reflects Ibiza's
chequered past and you will see the influence of the Romans, Moors, Catalans and
the Phoenicians.

Tips for dates on Ibiza, Balearic Islands
- Have a beach bag and comfortable flat shoes as you are going to spend a
lot of your time there
- Try and find clothes and jewellery that looks expensive but isn't as you
are going to come into contact with a great deal of very 'merry' clubbers
- There can be a problem with jellyfish on Ibiza so make sure your hotel has
a decent-sized swimming pool 'just in case'
- Buying tickets for nightclubs at the door is more expensive than getting
them from booking agents but watch the smallprint as there may be restrictions
on days or times
- If you are planning on hiring a motorbike or moped, make sure you bring
some stout clothing (despite the temperature) as you will lose a lot of skin
if and when you come off
- Unless you choose a very quiet part of the island, don't expect to get
much peace and quiet. Ibiza parties from dusk to dawn and then starts again
during the day.
